  • What is the maximum flight time of the aircraft?

    The max flight time is 120 minutes.

Image Transmission

  • What is the effective image transmission range of the Dragonfish?

    When used with a base station, the maximum image transmission distance of the aircraft is 30km; when the ground station is used alone to connect the aircraft, the maximum image transmission distance is 15km.

Gimbal

  • What is the resolution of the Dragonfish gimbal camera?

    Dual-lens camera: This consists of an integrated 4K ultra-high-definition optical zoom camera, which can achieve 20x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom; and also has a 48-megapixel high-resolution wide-angle camera. Triple sensor: Consist of an integrated 4K ultra-high-definition optical zoom camera, which can achieve 20x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom; and has an integrated 48 MP high-resolution wide-angle camera; siultaneously it is equipped with 640*512 resolution infrared thermal imaging camera with a maximium the detection range of up to 2000 meters.

  • Can I change the gimbal mount?

    Yes. The gimbal mount can be replaced. Currently, the Dragonfish can be equipped with dual-lens and triple-lens cameras, and more mounts will be developed and introduced to the market in the future.

Battery

  • The two batteries have different power levels. Can you take off and fly?

    If the power difference between the two batteries is less than 12%, you can take off; if the power difference is greater than 12%, the App will display "Battery power difference is too large" and you cannot take off.

  • Can the battery be carried on board?

    The energy of the battery is 277.2Wh. According to airline requirements, the battery cannot be carried on board.

  • Can the battery be used in a low temperature environment?

    The operating temperature of the battery is -20 °C to 40 °C. Use the battery in a low temperature environment, the battery life will be reduced, please arrange the flight time reasonably. For optimal performance, it is recommended to keep the battery temperature above 15 °C before flying. If the battery is charged in an environment of -20 °C to 5 °C, the battery will start the self-heating function and enter the charging process after heating.

  • How does one maintain the battery?

    1. Ensure that the 2 batteries are charged/discharged at the same time to obtain the best power supply performance;

    2. Do not charge immediately after flight; it is recommended to charge the battery after it drops to room temperature;

    3. The ideal charging environment temperature of the battery is 15 °C~40 °C;

    4. The ideal storage environment temperature of the battery is 22 °C~28 °C. When storing, ensure the area is free from water and moisture, and avoid direct sunlight;

    5. If you do not use the battery for more than 10 days, please discharge the battery to 20%~30% and store it, and recharge and discharge it every 3 months or so to keep the battery active.

  • How long does it take to fully charge two batteries?

    It takes about 120 minutes to fully charge each battery; about 240 minutes to fully charge both batteries.
