Go The Extra Mile With Autel Robotics At The 2023 Emergency Tech Show

Dear Autel Robotics Customers,

We wanted to provide you with some important updates regarding the certification requirements for our drones and the upcoming changes in accordance with EU Drone Regulations. Here's what you need to know:

We just secured the coveted C2 certification for our EVO II V3 series, which marks a major milestone for Autel Robotics in adhering to the European Drone Regulation (EU) 2019/945 (R945) and sets the stage for users to experience enhanced capabilities and freedom in the operations.

The C2 certification for the EVO II V3 series involves a firmware update to ensure compliance with the latest regulatory standards. As a remote pilot, from 1st January 2024, the C2 Class Mark on EVO II V3 enables operations in the 'Open Category', A2 sub-category, following successful online training, called the A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) as well operations in the A3 sub-category. Please check your National Aviation Authority's website to find out how to receive this training and exam. The training can be undertaken in any EASA Member State.

In undertaking the rigorous demands to meet these standards to achieve C2, Autel Robotics worked with Applus, an approved EASA Notified Body; they act on behalf of EASA to ensure all of the requirements of C2 are tested and achieved prior to EASA's Authorisation of the Class Mark.

In order to verify the certification of EVO II V3 series you can visit the Applus https://apps.applus.com/microsites/fecip/list?name=&number=0370-UAS-0010
