Update On Autel Robotics Certification To Meet With EU Regulations
Dear Autel Robotics Customers,
We wanted to provide you with some important information regarding the certification requirements for our drones and the upcoming changes in accordance with EU Drone Regulations. Here's what you need to know:
Deadline Extension: The deadline for marking new drones with their UAS Class Identification Label, as specified in Regulations (EU) 2019/947 and 2019/945, has been postponed until 1st January 2024. Autel Robotics is undertaking the certification process for the drones currently available (specified as below in detail).
Certification Levels and Contents: In accordance with the EU Regulations, we are categorizing our drone models based on their Certification Levels and the stipulated requirements. These levels are defined by weight, Remote-ID, Noise Levels, Geo-Awareness systems, and more.
Certification Progress: We are collaborating with one of the largest and trusted certification organizations in Europe to ensure that the Classification marking certification is completed before the implementation date, January 2024.
