Go The Extra Mile With Autel Robotics At The 2023 Emergency Tech Show

1. Introduction

At Autel Robotics, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and social responsibility. As part of this commitment, we recognise the importance of combating modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. This Modern Slavery Policy outlines our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and sets out the steps we take to prevent, detect, and address any instances of modern slavery within our operations and supply chains.

2. Policy Statement

Autel Robotics condemns modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms, including forced labour, child labour, debt bondage, and human trafficking for labour or sexual exploitation. We believe that every individual has the right to work in a safe, fair, and dignified manner, free from coercion, exploitation, or abuse.

3. Scope

This policy applies to all Autel Robotics employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners involved in our operations and supply chains worldwide. It encompasses all activities undertaken by Autel Robotics, including but not limited to manufacturing, distribution, sales, and marketing.

4. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Autel Robotics is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations relating to modern slavery and human trafficking. We expect our employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners to adhere to the same high standards and to comply with all relevant laws and regulations in the countries in which they operate.

As an equal opportunities employer, Autel Robotics is committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for our staff. We want all our staff to feel confident that they can expose wrongdoing without any risk to themselves.

Our recruitment and people management processes are designed to ensure that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK and to safeguard employees from any abuse or coercion.

We do not enter into business with any organisation, in the UK or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.

5. Due Diligence

Autel  Robotics conducts due diligence on all new suppliers and business partners to assess their compliance with our Modern Slavery Policy. This includes evaluating their policies, procedures, and practices related to modern slavery and human trafficking. We also regularly review and monitor existing suppliers and business partners to ensure ongoing compliance.

6. Risk Assessment

We recognise that certain regions, industries, and types of work are more susceptible to modern slavery and human trafficking. As such, we conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritise areas of potential risk within our operations and supply chains. These assessments inform our mitigation strategies and help us allocate resources effectively.

7. Training and Awareness

Autel Robotics provides training and awareness-raising initiatives to our employees, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure they understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and their role in preventing it. This includes training on identifying signs of exploitation, reporting procedures, and our commitment to ethical business practices.

8. Reporting Mechanisms

We encourage anyone who has concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking within Autel Robotics or our supply chains to report them promptly and confidentially. We have established reporting mechanisms, including whistleblowing channels, through which individuals can raise concerns without fear of retaliation.

9. Embedding the principles

Autel Robotics is committed to continuously improving our efforts to combat modern slavery and human trafficking. We will continue to embed the principles through:

·  Providing awareness training to staff on the modern slavery and informing them of the appropriate action to take if they suspect a case of slavery or human trafficking;

·  Ensuring staff involved in procurement activity are aware of and follow modern slavery procurement guidance;

·  Ensuring that consideration of the modern slavery risks and prevention are added to Autel Robotics' policy review process as an employer and procurer of goods and services;

·  Making sure Autel Robotics’ procurement strategies and contract terms and conditions include references to modern slavery and human trafficking;

·  Continuing to take action to embed a zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery;

·  Ensuring that staff involved in buying or procurement and the recruitment and deployment of workers receive training on modern slavery and ethical employment practices.

10. Accountability

Senior management at Autel Robotics is accountable for implementing and overseeing this Modern Slavery Policy. They are responsible for ensuring that adequate resources are allocated to prevent, detect, and address modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains.

11. Conclusion

Autel Robotics is committed to taking a proactive stance against modern slavery and human trafficking. We believe that by working together with our employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners, we can create a world where every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.
